Odoo implementation in Kenya, with eTIMS, payroll and mobile money built in

We implement, migrate and support Odoo for growing East African businesses, with KRA eTIMS, SHIF, NSSF, Housing Levy, mobile money and bank feeds set up inside the system instead of in spreadsheets on the side.

What changes

  • Accounting, sales, stock, purchasing and payroll run in one system, configured for Kenya.
  • The figures you report to KRA come from the same system you trade in.
  • Payroll follows current SHIF, NSSF, Housing Levy and PAYE rules, checked before each pay run.
  • M-Pesa, other mobile money and bank payments land on the right invoice without retyping.
  • Migrated data is reconciled against the old system before you switch over.

Price

Support retainer from KES 35,000/month

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Requirements workshop

We map how you sell, buy, stock, pay and report today, and agree the modules, branches and data in a written scope.

  2. Step 2

    Configure and migrate

We configure Odoo for Kenya and move your data across from spreadsheets, your old system or an older Odoo version.

  3. Step 3

    Reconcile and test

We reconcile the new database against the old one, and your team tests real scenarios. Any gap is fixed before go-live.

  4. Step 4

    Train and go live

Your team is trained on its daily routine, we support the first weeks live, and a monthly retainer keeps the system current.

Odoo, set up for how Kenyan businesses run

Odoo gives you accounting, sales, inventory, purchasing, payroll, projects and a website in one system. Getting it right in Kenya takes more than installing modules. eTIMS has to work at every branch. Payroll has to follow current SHIF, NSSF, Housing Levy and PAYE rules. M-Pesa, other mobile money and bank payments have to land on the right invoice.

That is the work we do. Odoo is one of the ERPs we work with, and the one we implement end to end.

What we deliver

  • Odoo implementation in Kenya. A requirements workshop, configuration, data migration from spreadsheets or your old system, training and go-live support. Scoped implementations start from KES 600,000.
  • Migrations and upgrades. We migrate Odoo between versions, including to Odoo 20, and check for the quiet failures before you switch over.
  • KRA eTIMS compliance. eTIMS set up in Odoo for each branch, stock records in eTIMS, supplier invoices checked and staff trained. See KRA eTIMS compliance.
  • Statutory payroll on Odoo. SHIF, NSSF, Housing Levy and PAYE deductions configured in Odoo payroll and checked before each pay run.
  • M-Pesa in Odoo. STK Push payment requests and Paybill reconciliation through Daraja, with no aggregator in between.
  • Support retainer. From KES 35,000 a month for support hours, updates and statutory changes.

Choosing who implements your Odoo

If you are comparing Odoo implementers in Kenya, ask each one four questions:

  1. How will you prove that nothing was lost in the data migration?
  2. Who sets up and tests eTIMS at each branch?
  3. What happens when KRA or payroll rules change next year?
  4. Can my team run its own reports without calling you each time?

Get the answers in writing before you sign. We put ours in the proposal.

Connected to the rest of your business

Odoo rarely stands alone. A bank, a payment gateway or a partner may need to exchange data with it, which is where our wider integration work comes in.

Odoo is also the system our AI agents are built to work on: a WhatsApp AI agent that can check stock before it quotes, or an AI executive assistant that can send directors a morning briefing straight from your books.

Common questions

How much does an Odoo implementation cost in Kenya?

Scoped implementations start from KES 600,000. The price depends on the modules, users, branches and the state of your data. A support retainer starts from KES 35,000 a month. We confirm the price in writing before work starts.

Can you migrate us from an older Odoo version?

Yes, including to Odoo 20. Migrations fail quietly: a KES price list relabelled as USD, invoice numbering that restarts at one, payslips that never arrived. We reconcile invoices, payments, payslips, journal entries and stock moves before you switch over.

Is KRA eTIMS part of the implementation?

eTIMS is set up through our KRA eTIMS compliance pack, from KES 250,000, which covers a readiness review, eTIMS for each branch, stock records and staff training. We scope it with your implementation so it is ready at go-live.

What does the support retainer cover?

Monthly support hours, version updates and statutory changes for KRA, SHIF, NSSF and Housing Levy, from a team that already knows your setup. When a rule changes, it is set up in your Odoo instead of becoming a manual workaround.

Do you work with ERPs other than Odoo?

Odoo is the ERP we implement. If you run another ERP, we connect it to payments, eTIMS and your other systems through its API where it has one, and tell you plainly if it does not.

Can we add AI to our Odoo later?

Yes. Clean, well-structured Odoo data is what lets an AI agent answer questions and take actions safely, and we set yours up with that in mind. See our AI automation services when you are ready.
